Who is eligible for financial assistance?
To be eligible, the recipient must meet the following criteria:

Must have a cancer diagnosis from an oncology healthcare provider.

Less than $5,000 in accessible funds (bank accounts and/or fundraising accounts, including GoFundMe).

Living and receiving treatment in the Greater Kansas City MO & KS area.

The recipient, primary guardian, or caregiver can apply.

How do I apply for financial assistance?

What can this financial assistance be used for?
The funds are only used for mortgage or rent. Recipients must show proof of 60-90 days delinquency in writing from mortgage company and/or landlord.
What happens if funding runs out?
While we work hard to raise funds, we have a limited amount available. If funding runs out, we will temporarily pause the acceptance of new applications until more funds are raised.
Can I receive financial assistance more than once?
Yes, but only once in a calendar year. Open application periods are July1st-July 15th 2026.
How will I know if my application is approved?
After reviewing your application, please allow up to 30 days for the review process. We will notify you via telephone and email of your approval. Grants will be disbursed within 30 business days following approval of your application.
